The Section of Fine Arts, Treasury Relief Art Project, and Federal Art Project of the Works Progress Administration were all major American federal government art programs from the period of the 1930s and 1940s. In the checklist, height precedes width. All works are gifts from Steven and Susan Hirsch to the permanent collection of the Frances Lehman Loeb Art Center, Vassar College, except for two studies.
