Late Night Leaves the Lehman Loeb, September 2, 2010 at 6:00pm
Even though the Art Center is closed for roof repairs, Late Night at the Lehman Loeb will continue on the first Thursday of every month during the fall semester. Each month we will meet in a new location on the Vassar campus.
This month, join us around Jenny Holzer’s installation For Elizabeth, a series of benches that stretch from Main Building to the All Campus Dining Center and are inscribed with poems from Elizabeth Bishop, Vassar College class of 1934. Visitors will be able to make their own rubbings of the benches and selected poems will be recited by members of the Powerhouse Apprentice program.
Watch a short documentary about the creation of the benches on our blog: http://blogs.vassar.edu/fllaceducation/
