The crown jewels of Vassar's print collection include over 160 fine Old Master engravings and etchings given to the College a half century ago by the family of banker Felix M. Warburg. Eighty-five of the best works works from the collection are included in this exhibition catalogue featuring prints by Dürer, Rembrandt, Heinrich Aldegrever, Albrecht Altdorfer, Hans Sebald Beham, Lucas Cranach the Elder, and Lucas van Leyden. The Print Room is open for students Wednesdays and Fridays 2-4pm when classes are in session. Open to the public by appointment.
The Art Center stays open late Thursdays 5-9pm. Enjoy live music from student groups, local performers, and some surprises along the way.
