Late Night at the Lehman Loeb:
Join us every Thursday evening for extended gallery hours and a lively atmosphere with creative happenings each week. Late Night is made possible by the generous support of the Jane W. Nuhn Charitable Trust.
Come at 2:00 for the daily Highlights Tour given by Vassar student docents who are trained in the Art Center’s collection and its history.
The Art Center is closed on Mondays, Easter, Thanksgiving Day, and from Christmas through New Year’s Day.
All galleries are wheelchair accessible. There is handicapped parking available near the museum entrance.
The Art Center does not generally place prints and drawings on view in the permanent installation because of their fragility and light sensitivity. Instead, visitors can examine these works, which range from old master to contemporary, in the print room. Curator Patricia Phagan (firstname.lastname@example.org) coordinates visits to the print room during print room hours (during the academic year) or by appointment.
Photography is permitted for personal use only, and is restricted to works of art in the Frances Lehman Loeb Art Center’s permanent collection (objects on loan to the Art Center may not be photographed). Hand-held cameras only may be used; tripods are not permitted.
We welcome you to sketch in the galleries, using only pencil or charcoal. We have folding campstools available to sit on. Painting is not allowed in the galleries.
Large bags must be stored in one of the Art Center’s cubbies. Backpacks must either be stored or carried on the front of the body.
