Please note that current visit guidelines reflect Vassar College’s fall 2020 plans and policies in response to the Covid-19 pandemic. We recommend that visitors check this page for any further developments before visiting.
Winter Hours:
Please note the Loeb will be closed the weekend of Dec. 26-27–Jan. 1 and will reopen for public weekend hours on January 2, 2021.
Weekday hours (for the on-campus community only) will resume on February 17, 2021.
Hours for General Public Only:
M–F: Closed
Saturday: 10am–5pm
Sunday: 1pm–5pm
Hours for Vassar Students and Faculty Only:
Wednesday 10am–5pm
Thursday 10am–8pm
Friday 10am–5pm
Admission
Admission to the Frances Lehman Loeb Art Center is free and open to all.
Accessibility
All galleries are wheelchair accessible. During this period when the museum entrance has shifted to Raymond Avenue, please call ahead to arrange for accessible parking, 845-437-5632.
Special Considerations for Health and Safety
All visitors are required to wear a mask.
Please observe the directional signage within the galleries.
Please observe social distancing with visitors not in your immediate party.
In compliance with current New York State Department of Health guidelines for indoor museums, the Loeb will limit the number of visitors in the galleries at any given time to 75. Should the galleries be at full capacity when you arrive, we ask for your patience and understanding if you must wait a short while before entering.
Policies
Large bags must be stored in one of the Art Center’s cubbies. Backpacks must either be stored or carried on the front of the body.
Photography is permitted for personal use only, and is restricted to works of art in the Frances Lehman Loeb Art Center’s permanent collection (objects on loan to the Art Center may not be photographed). Hand-held cameras only may be used; tripods are not permitted.
Vassar students and faculty: Please note that weekend hours are restricted to the general public only. Consult the Teaching and Learning section of the VassarTogether page or the Vassar Faculty & Students page of this website for information about days and times reserved only for Vassar students and faculty to visit during the week.
